Last updated August 19, 2026. These terms govern the text-message (SMS) program operated by Atchison Account Management, LLC, doing business as AAM Collections, a debt collection agency located at 308 Commercial Street, Atchison, Kansas 66002.

What we are, and what we are not

AAM Collections is a licensed third-party debt collection agency. We collect accounts on behalf of the creditors who place them with us. We do not offer debt relief, debt settlement, debt consolidation, debt forgiveness, credit repair or credit restoration services, and we do not originate, broker or service loans or any other form of consumer credit. We do not sell any product or service to consumers, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages of any kind. Every text message we send relates to an existing account already placed with us, and goes only to a consumer who has given us express written consent.

Program & brand

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from AAM Collections related to your account with us — including collection notices, payment reminders, payment confirmations, balance updates, document-signature requests and customer service replies.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase, payment or service. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to pay your account or to communicate with us — you may always reach us by phone, mail or email instead.

Messages we send

Messages sent through this program relate to your account with us, and include collection notices and account status updates, payment reminders and scheduled-payment notifications, payment confirmations and receipts, balance updates, requests to review and electronically sign documents relating to your account, and customer service replies.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. Where required, our messages include the disclosure that this is an attempt to collect a debt and that any information obtained will be used for that purpose.

Message frequency

Message frequency may vary. How often you hear from us depends on activity on your account.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. We do not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent and received under your plan with them. Contact your carrier for the details of your plan.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box on our SMS opt-in form, or by giving us express consent in another documented way, such as in writing or during a recorded telephone call. We keep a record of your consent, including the date, time and the exact language you agreed to.

Opting out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number.

Opting out of text messages does not stop other required communications about your account, and does not by itself satisfy or reduce any balance you owe.

Help and support (HELP)

If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS service, reply HELP to any SMS message you receive, or contact us on 913-367-4069 or at info@aamcollections.com.

Sender number

Messages are sent from 913-367-4069. Adding this number to your saved contacts helps ensure our messages are delivered and recognisable.

Carriers & delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. This program is available on most major U.S. carriers.

Privacy & your information

Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

All the stated categories in this privacy policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, share or transfer mobile phone numbers, opt-in records or SMS consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How we collect, use, retain and protect your information — including SMS-specific data — is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber of, or an authorized user of, the mobile number you provide. If you give up or change that number, you must notify us so we do not message someone else.

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued participation in the program after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
